This year, Kibera Fashion Week 2023 dazzled and floored us with a beautiful showcase of creativity, culture, innovation, and sustainability. The event featured a diverse lineup of talented designers from Nairobi each showcasing their unique perspective, inspiration and style.
The 100 garments showcased was a testament to a growing African fashion industry, that is blending tradition, street culture with modern sensibilities and sustainability

The project is initiated by David Avido (Lookslike Avido / Avido Foundation) in collaboration with Goethe-Institut, Nairobi Design, Maasai Mbili and EUNIC Kenya. The project is funded as part of the European Spaces of Culture.
