Through meaningful conversations, networking opportunities and collective brainstorming, the event served as a platform for fostering relationships, and generating support all of which contributed to the festival's seamless execution and memorable experiences for attendees.
During this year’s dinner we launched Kolakisa a fashion brand from Turkana, Kenya that goes beyond the realm of clothing design and production. Operating with a deep sense of purpose, they utilize their craft as a vehicle for empowerment within their community.
Created by Samir_the fashion_designer, the brand focus extends to providing essential training and support to vulnerable groups such as refugees, single mothers, and school dropouts. The brand also equips individuals with valuable skills, enabling them to build a sustainable future for themselves and their families.
Through their dedicated efforts, Kolakisa is making a significant impact, fostering self-reliance and creating opportunities for those who need it the most.
