The PACE team is thrilled to welcome you to Bloemfontein, South Africa, for the 3rd Pan-African Creative Exchange (#PACE2023) and experience a unique convergence of interdisciplinary (performing) arts showcasing, networking, and critical discourse on the African continent.
Over 30 inspiring productions and presentations have been selected representing artists from Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon, Kenya, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Zambia, Nigeria, Morocco, Uganda, Senegal, South Africa, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe and extends to the African diaspora, welcoming talents from Barbados, Haiti, Australia, the UK, and the Nordic region.
Nairobi Design will be presenting on our work with local and global communities in showcasing design and bridging the gap between creatives and opportunities as well as share a virtual experience of Nairobi Design Week 2023 under the theme "Its What We Make It"
The Pan-African Creative Exchange (PACE) is an initiative by the Vrystaat Arts Festival, and is a biennial arts market and showcase for African & African-diaspora artists, developed for national and international presenters, producers and festival directors, providing the highest quality inter-disciplinary arts product (theatre, dance, music, craft etc) from Africa, to buyers, artists and the general public.
